Future Priorities in Mobility

Improving the efficient use of resources is also an important future priority in the area of mobility and transport. Beyond looking at settlement structures, the focus here is on vehicular technology and influencing the behaviour of road users. In general, the subgroup addresses two subject areas: ?Regional Mobility Management? and ?Electromobility?.

Electromobility

The ?Electromobility? Subgroup will be cross-linked with the ?Economy?, ?Knowledge? and ?Environment? workgroups. In the field of electromobility, the goal is to develop a coherent overall strategy for the region, while optimally utilizing public communications possibilities.

?Efficiently Mobile?: the regional mobility management of the Munich Metropolitan Region supports local authorities and companies in developing sustainable mobility behaviour.
