Mobility Management
?Efficiently Mobile?: the regional mobility management of the Munich Metropolitan Region supports local authorities and companies in developing sustainable mobility behaviour. To this end, a regional mobility management network and support programme have been created under the umbrella of the Munich Metropolitan Region, as part of the German Energy Agency?s ?effizient mobil? programme. It assists the coordinated development of mobility management concepts, the exchange of ideas, and the acquisition of funding for implementation.
A total of 16 local authorities and companies expressed interest in developing a mobility management concept as part of the ?effizient mobil? programme. Besides the City of Munich (which had already been running its ?München ? Gscheid Mobil? programme since 2006), nine other localities and companies were chosen to develop mobility management concepts as pioneers in the region (framed in red on the map)
