The goal of the Sciences Workgroup is to encourage the networking and transfer of ?knowledge? within the metropolitan region and to make the Munich Metropolitan Region even more prominent as a centre of knowledge.
There are three subgroups, devoted to the following topics:

This subgroup encourages discussions and projects addressing the topics of fair access in education, participation in education, and new educational opportunities for non-traditional target groups, with a focus on ?life/career transitions?.

With the subgroup ?Region of Knowledge?, the Knowledge Workgroup has become the first workgroup with its own marketing subgroup.

How can one attract highly qualified personnel? How can knowledge and experience be retained in the region? These and other questions on the topic of skilled workforce development are addressed by this subgroup.
