Region of Innovation

The Munich metropolitan region is one of Europe’s most innovative hubs—EMM e.V. brings together stakeholders from academia, business, and politics, connecting people, ideas, and perspectives to promote the transfer of knowledge and exchange on innovation-related topics in the region.

Region of Innovation

In April 2026, the regional management project “Region of Innovation” launched by EMM e.V., funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development, and Energy.

We are very much looking forward to the upcoming three-year funding period. The goal of the project is to further strengthen and highlight the polycentric innovation forces of the Munich metropolitan region:

  • Regional events are planned in collaboration with districts and project partners

  • In addition, promotional videos will highlight the appeal of the Munich Metropolitan Region as an innovation hub
