The Munich Metropolitan Region is one of the most innovative regions in the world—and this strength stems not only from the state capital, but from the synergy between cities, counties, businesses, universities, and research institutions throughout the region.
With the roadshow “Munich Metropolitan Region – Region of Innovation,” we are highlighting this synergy and demonstrating the opportunities arising from close collaboration between urban and rural areas. The focus is on technology and knowledge transfer, new opportunities for cooperation between academia, business, and local governments, as well as the question of how innovation can be strengthened in a decentralized and collaborative manner.
The roadshow kicks off on July 7 in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district—at the Bad Tölz Campus with the Transfer and Innovation Center in the Oberland. On site, we’ll provide insights into how innovation emerges in the Oberland, how collaborations between businesses and academia succeed, and what role local governments can play.
Look forward to exchanging ideas with experts from the region and gaining inspiration for a networked future of innovation.
The event starts at 2 p.m. and runs until approximately 5 p.m.
