IBA Unites 2026

Major changes can only be achieved by working together! The IBA-Unit brings together stakeholders from business, academia, and politics in the IBA-M. Through IBA-Unites, we aim to clarify expectations, explore opportunities, and further strengthen collaboration.

To kick things off, a dialogue session will address the question, “What makes an IBA successful?” Uli Hellweg (IBA Hamburg), Karin Lang (IBA’27 Stuttgart Metropolitan Region), and Prof. Dr. Oliver Weigel (IBA-M) will discuss how a vibrant network develops around an IBA and how municipalities, businesses, and organizations in the region benefit from it.

Afterward, there will be time for questions, suggestions, and requests from IBA-Unit members. They will also elect a spokesperson to coordinate with IBA-M. The exchange will continue in a relaxed atmosphere during a get-together with a buffet and drinks.
